Welcome and Thank You for Your Interest in Becoming a Participant in the Clinical Trials of the Merah Putih Vaccine at UNAIR
This clinical trial will be conducted at RSUD dr. Soetomo, Surabaya. The product used in this clinical trial is the Merah Putih Vaccine, which utilizes an inactivated SARS-CoV-2 virus isolate from Indonesia, developed by Universitas Airlangga. The trial will involve two groups: the Merah Putih Vaccine Group and a Control Group for comparison. The control group will receive the Sinovac-Biofarma COVID-19 vaccine. If you pass the screening process, you will be randomly assigned to one of these two groups.
Both vaccines will be administered in 2 doses with a 28-day interval. All participants are required to follow this study for 6 months, involving a total of 8 visits (1 screening visit, 2 visits for the first and second vaccine injections, and 5 follow-up visits). Participants will receive transportation compensation for each visit. The safety and health of participants are fully monitored by the research team, and if any health issues arise, they will be examined and treated at RSUD dr. Soetomo free of charge.
