Engelbertus Dedycandro Seran

My name is Engelbertus Dedycandro Seran, commonly known as Dedy. As a graduate of Widya Mandira Catholic University (Unwira) in Kupang, I feel incredibly grateful to have continued my studies in the Master’s Program in Biochemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Airlangga University (UNAIR) Surabaya, in 2022. Throughout my education at UNAIR, I gained invaluable academic experiences, particularly in enzyme research for surfactant bioremediation.

Airlangga University provides highly comprehensive and modern laboratory facilities, optimally supporting the research process. The availability of advanced equipment and sufficient research materials enabled me to conduct experiments with accurate and scientifically accountable results. Additionally, access to a vast array of journals and scientific literature helped me deepen my theoretical understanding to support my research.

The lecturers at the Faculty of Science and Technology at UNAIR possess outstanding academic competence and extensive experience in biochemistry and biotechnology. They not only deliver comprehensive lectures but are also always open to discussions and provide in-depth guidance for research.

Beyond academics, the university’s conducive learning environment was another significant advantage of studying at UNAIR. The collaboration among students, along with various seminars and scientific conferences organized by the faculty, provided excellent opportunities to expand academic knowledge and networks.

I highly recommend Airlangga University, especially the Faculty of Science and Technology, to anyone who wishes to delve into biochemistry with high academic standards and an inspiring learning environment.
