Titah Aldila Budiastanti
Master of Chemistry Graduate, Universitas Airlangga, Class of 2020

Hello, my name is Titah Aldila Budiastanti. I am a 2020 graduate of the Master’s program in Chemistry at Universitas Airlangga. Currently, I reside in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, where I am pursuing my doctoral studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Meijo University, under the Monbukagakusho (MEXT) scholarship.

I completed my Master’s in Chemistry at Universitas Airlangga with funding from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP), Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. I chose the Chemistry graduate program at Unair because of its compelling research focus, especially the application of chemistry in health sciences. Additionally, Unair’s Master’s program in Chemistry is a preferred university for the LPDP Domestic Scholarship program.

The Master’s Chemistry program at Unair is supported by highly competent faculty members. Collaborations between Unair lecturers and international universities have accelerated the development of learning and research in the program. As a professional working in the industry, I did not face significant difficulties continuing my education despite a gap of approximately six years between my undergraduate and graduate studies. With the foundation I gained from my undergraduate studies and industry experience, I found it easy to understand the well-delivered coursework during my Master’s program.

The Master’s program at Unair provides comprehensive preparation for graduates, whether they choose to work or pursue doctoral studies. The curriculum equips students not only with scientific knowledge but also with soft skills that enable graduates to contribute meaningfully to society. Unair’s collaborations with various foreign universities open great opportunities for alumni seeking to pursue doctoral studies with scholarships from Indonesia or the destination country.

Wishing continued success for the Chemistry Master’s Program at Universitas Airlangga—may it flourish and gain international recognition!
