Anita Kurniati, Master’s Degree Student in Chemistry Class of 9200

Anita Kurniati
My name is Anita Kurniati, and I was part of the second cohort of the Master’s Program in Chemistry at Airlangga University in 2009. Currently, I work as a lecturer in the D4 Medical Laboratory Technology (D4 TLM) program at the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Airlangga University. I chose to pursue my master’s degree in Chemistry at Airlangga University because of its strong reputation and high academic standards. Moreover, the faculty members in the Chemistry Master’s Program at Airlangga University are highly qualified and dedicated.
For my master’s research, I specialized in biochemistry with a thesis titled “SEM and XRD Analysis of Surface Structure and Crystallinity Changes in Rice Straw and Water Hyacinth Due to Recombinant α-L-Arabinofuranosidase Activity.” This research was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih, with all research materials and analysis costs covered by her research umbrella. Nearly all faculty members in UNAIR’s Master’s Program in Chemistry have research grants that greatly facilitate students in completing their theses. This was one of the key reasons I chose the Chemistry Master’s Program at Airlangga University.
