GUEST LECTURE : Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga and University CoE – Research Center for Bio-Molecule Engineering (BIOME), Universitas Airlangga

This talk highlights the use of a plant species, Mucuna bracteata, as a plant-based platform for the production of anti-toxoplasma immunoglobulin through genetic engineering. It will cover the strategies involved in expressing recombinant antibodies in plants, the benefits of using Mucuna bracteata as a host system, and the potential applications of plant-made antibodies for the treatment of toxoplasmosis.
