WHAT IS 3COP?

The three minutes competition of oral presentation aims at assessing the student’s capacity to communicate ideas effectively on Bahasa and English language. It is intended to enhance the development of academic and research communication skills. A student will be given three minutes to present a single static powerpoint slide to non specialist audience.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Chemistry students who taken proposal and thesis courses.

THE RULES

• A single static PowerPoint slide is permitted. No slides transitions, animations or movement of and description are allowed.
• No additional electronic media (e.g: sound, effect, and video) are permitted.
• Presentation is limited to 3 minutes maximum and competitors exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified.
• Presentations are to be spoken word (e.g: no poems, raps, or songs).
• No notes reading is allowed.
• Competition is conducted online by submitting a video using a free presentation program (e.g: Camtasia).
• The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.
• Participants are subject to the formal dress code.
