The Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga (FST UNAIR) is opening registration for the Fast Track program for Bachelor’s-Master’s degree for the academic year 2019/2020, with the following provisions:

Requirements for Fast Track Program Participants:

1. Students from the Bachelor’s Program in Chemistry at Universitas Airlangga or accredited Chemistry programs from other universities.
2. Must have completed at least 105 credits by the fifth semester with a minimum GPA of 3.51.
3. Must have passed TOEFL/ELPT with a score > 475 (can be completed by the end of the Master’s program).
4. Must obtain a recommendation from the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga (for students from outside Universitas Airlangga).

Implementation Details of the Fast Track Program:

1. During the first year of the Master’s program (semesters 7 and 8 of the Bachelor’s program), Fast Track participants from the Bachelor’s Program in Chemistry at Universitas Airlangga are exempted from paying the Master’s program SOP fee, while participants from outside Universitas Airlangga must pay the SOP fee as per regulations.
2. In the second year, Fast Track participants must pay the SOP fee as per regulations.
3. Must graduate from the Bachelor’s program within a maximum of 8 semesters (4 years) with a GPA > 3.51.
4. Must complete 15 credits of Master’s program courses during semesters 7 and 8 of the Bachelor’s program.
5. Must achieve a GPA > 3.50 for the 15 credits of Master’s program courses.
6. Participants who do not meet the above requirements will have their participation in the Fast Track program canceled and may join the regular Master’s program with the applicable SOP mechanisms and fees.
7. Fast Track participants will receive a special student ID number in the third semester of the Master’s program.
8. The deadline for document submission and selection is July 31, 2019.

Registration Procedure:

1. Fill out the registration form and attach:
   • Transcript of Bachelor’s program grades
   • TOEFL/ELPT certificate
   • Recommendation letter from the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga.
2. Submit the completed registration form and documents to the administration of the Master’s Program in Chemistry at Universitas Airlangga (Mas Fendik).
