Fifty UNAIR Chemistry Department Students Take RD Supervisor Competency Test
From Monday to Thursday, December 12-15, 2022, the Competency Test for the National Occupational Scheme in Quality Control Supervisor for Research and Development Products (Research & Development) Number 12/KIM/8/6S/LSP.UNAIR/2018 was conducted. This event was attended by 50 participants who are 7th-semester students from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga. These students had registered with the Professional Certification Institute (LSP) of Universitas Airlangga.
The assessment began with a written exam conducted simultaneously in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga, and continued with practical demonstration observations and oral exams by the Assessors Team from LSP UNAIR, held progressively from December 12-15, 2022. The assessment activities took place at various practical workstations spread across the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, Biochemistry Laboratory, Analytical Chemistry Laboratory, and Physical Chemistry Laboratory. Practical demonstrations included operating instruments commonly used for product quality testing such as pH meters and UV-VIS Spectrophotometers.
The assessment team, certified by BNSP, included Sofijan Hadi (Certificate Registration No. MET. 000.009907 2017), Miratul Khasanah (Certificate Registration No. MET. 000.007728 2022), Qurrota A’yuni (Certificate Registration No. MET. 000.007730 2022), and Fatiha Khairunnisa (Certificate Registration No. MET. 000.007724 2022).
This competency test received funding from LSP UNAIR to certify the competence of chemistry students, providing them with credentials from UNAIR Chemistry to facilitate future job applications.
