Universitas Airlangga received a delegation visit from Australian National University on March 30, 2017. The delegation, mostly from the College of Physical and Mathematical Science and College of Medicine, Biology, and Environment, received a good welcome from UNAIR. They held a meeting to explore mutually beneficial cooperation for both institutions. In the meeting held, the participants were not only representatives of departments in the Faculty of Science and Technology, but also from other faculties.

The Department of Chemistry took advantage of this opportunity by inviting Prof. John Carver, who is one of the Delegates from ANU and Director of the Research School of Chemistry, to give a lecture to Bachelor and Master students of Chemistry. The guest lecture entitled “The Pros & Cons of Protein Folding, Unfolding and Aggregation” will be held in the Hall of Management Office, Campus C UNAIR. Department of Chemistry expects more cooperation from this meeting and initiated with student exchange or research exchange.
