LSP UNAIR Holds Assessment for 20 Chemistry Students on RD Supervisor Competency Scheme
On Monday, May 15, 2023, the National Occupational Competency Test Scheme for Quality Control Supervisor in Research and Product Development (Research & Development) Number 12/KIM/8/6S/LSP.UNAIR/2018 was conducted. This event was attended by 20 final-year students from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga, who had registered with the Universitas Airlangga Professional Certification Institute (LSP).
The assessment began with a written exam conducted simultaneously in the Lecture Room for the Master’s Program on the 3rd floor of the Department of Chemistry, FST UNAIR, followed by practical demonstration observations and oral exams by the UNAIR LSP Assessor Team in stages. The assessment activities took place across various laboratories, including the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, Biochemistry Laboratory, Analytical Chemistry Laboratory, and Physical Chemistry Laboratory. The practical demonstrations involved operating instruments commonly used for product quality testing, such as pH meters and UV-VIS spectrophotometers. The assessor team, certified by BNSP, included Sofijan Hadi (Certificate Reg. No. MET. 000.009907 2017), Miratul Khasanah (Certificate Reg. No. MET. 000.007728 2022), Qurrota A’yuni (Certificate Reg. No. MET. 000.007730 2022), and Fatiha Khairunnisa (Certificate Reg. No. MET. 000.007724 2022). This competency test was funded by the UNAIR LSP to certify chemistry students’ competencies, providing them with qualifications for future job applications.
