During his studies, Muhammad Ikhlas Abdjan has accumulated a significant number of publications. Some of these publications are already published, such as “In silico approach: biological prediction of nordentatin derivatives as anticancer agent inhibitors in the cAMP pathway,” “Exploration of stilbenoid trimers as a potential inhibitor of Sirtuin1 enzyme using molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulation approach,” and “In Silico Approach: Anthocyanin Derivatives As Potential Inhibitors Of The COVID-19 Main Protease.” Additionally, several other articles are currently accepted for publication or under review.

Apart from his studies at Universitas Airlangga, Ikhlas spent 4-5 months studying at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He participated in a one-semester scholarship program offered by Chulalongkorn University, focusing extensively on research. His primary research focus was on theoretical modeling-based development of anticancer drugs (Computational Chemistry). One of the most memorable experiences for Ikhlas was gaining access to and working with the supercomputer owned by one of the research groups at Chulalongkorn University’s Department of Chemistry, which significantly enhanced the efficiency of his research. He also had the opportunity to interact with various students, postdocs, professors, and researchers in his field of interest.

In addition to research, Ikhlas also participated in cultural introduction activities in Thailand. These activities aimed to foster interaction among international students from different countries and universities to promote mutual understanding. According to Ikhlas, the outcome of the one-semester program was to enable students to better understand and directly engage in the academic world at Chulalongkorn University. It also aimed to establish connections and opportunities for students to pursue further studies (Master’s or PhD) at Chulalongkorn University using scholarships such as the Scholarship Program for ASEAN and NON-ASEAN, which covers all study expenses.
